In
Buhatan Sto. Domingo Albay were the KWAW FESTIVAL celebrated. Sto. Domingo is
located in the 1st district of Albay. Sto. Domingo is also called
the land of Sarung Banggi. In the land of Sto. Domingo their has a barangay
called Buhatan, Buhatan is one of the beautiful place in sto. Domingo were the
kwaw festival celebrates. Kwaw festival is one of the festivals in our
municipality, actually their so many festivals in sto. Domingo like sarung
banggi festival. Kwaw festival celebrated in the month of March. Because the
month of March is very important, because during that month the fish called
‘KWAW” hatched so many. Kwaw is also
called (Purse-eyed scad).
During Kwaw festival one of the most awaiting activities is Buhatan got talent, in this event featured the talents that buhateñous have. For me the most awaiting event during Kwaw festival is boodle fight, because during on the last day of Kwaw festival many people from the other barangays joined the boodle fight. During that event all the zones of our barangay have a unity.

participate together is as close as you can get to a perfect weekend.”
Kwaw
festival for me is my memorable event during the month of March, I’ve said a while
ago during this month the fisherman in our barangay has their own profit. Because
in the first place this festival engaging so many tourists from the other
country visits our municipality and also the Philippines. If I have the opportunity to promote our
festival I do my best to make it more interesting and wonderful. I’m so
thankful that God gave us a during this month the fisherman in barangay has
their own profit.
